When the Light of Christ hits your mind, it physically changes the neural pathways that trauma created. The old "serpent" pathways are pruned away. New pathways of life and peace are formed.
This is why you can walk away from addictions and bitterness that held you for twenty years. The Light has literally changed the way you think and feel.
Crushing the Serpent's Authority
The enemy’s only weapon is the lie. He wants you to believe you are your trauma. He wants you to believe you are your sin.
But when the Light of Christ enters the room, the lie is exposed. Shadows cannot exist where the Sun of Righteousness is shining.
You have the authority to command every demonic attachment to leave your soul. You don't have to beg God to do what He has already given you the power to do.
Take back the territory the enemy stole. Apply the blood of Jesus to the wounds of your past and watch the serpents flee.
