Money is not a neutral topic. It is a spiritual force. If you look at the landscape of modern Christianity, you will see a body of believers that is spiritually vibrant but financially paralyzed. We have let fear dictate our theology. Because we saw the abuses of the prosperity gospel, we retreated into a theology of lack. But silence is not faithfulness.
The truth is that nearly every major spiritual conflict in the Bible is also an economic one. When God called His people out of Egypt, He didn't just give them a new song. He gave them the wealth of their oppressors. He was shifting the economic engine of the world to fund a Kingdom purpose. Exposing the Counterfeit
We must be bold enough to call out the counterfeit. For decades, the Church was plagued by a version of prosperity that was nothing more than spiritual manipulation. It taught people to treat God like a cosmic vending machine. It focused on the "get" rather than the "stewardship." This false teaching did massive damage to the reputation of the Gospel.

It is the divine enablement to accomplish what God has assigned to your life.
If we reject the biblical pattern because of the abuses we’ve seen, we are letting the enemy win. We are essentially saying that God’s Word is no longer true because someone else lied about it. That is a dangerous way to live. We need to return to the Word and see what God actually said about wealth and power.
The Pattern of the Covenant
The Bible reveals a consistent pattern of provision from Genesis to Revelation. Prosperity is not a New Age concept. It is a covenant promise. In Deuteronomy 8:18, the Word says "And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."
Notice the reason for the wealth. It is for the establishment of the Covenant. God gives us the power to get wealth so that His purposes can be built on the earth. This means your bank account is tied to your assignment. If you are not aligned with His mission, you have no claim on His resources. But when you are in alignment, He becomes your primary source.
The world wants you to believe that your job is your source. The world wants you to believe that the economy dictates your future. That is a lie. As believers, we operate under a different economy. We are citizens of a Kingdom that is not subject to the fluctuations of the stock market. We serve a King who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

Building Instead of Begging
The Church is called to build, not beg. For too long, we have approached the world with our hats in our hands, asking for permission to exist. We have been the tail for so long that we’ve forgotten what it’s like to lead. But the biblical mandate for the believer is cultural dominion. We are supposed to be the innovators, the creators, and the financers of the future.
When we understand that God is our source, we stop seeking validation from the systems of man. We start looking for ways to take back culture for the Kingdom. This requires a shift in our identity. You are not a victim of your circumstances. You are a steward of the King’s treasury. That realization changes everything about how you work, how you invest, and how you give.
We are entering a season where the world’s systems will fail. This isn't a scare tactic. It’s a reality. In those moments, the people of God must be prepared to stand as a beacon of provision. We must be the ones with the storehouses full so that we can feed the hungry and lead the lost to the Bread of Life.
The Call to Stewardship
Your financial freedom is a spiritual necessity. If the enemy can keep you broke, he can keep you preoccupied. He knows that a stressed and struggling believer is less likely to take risks for the Kingdom. He wants you focused on your bills so you can’t focus on your brothers. It is time to break that cycle once and for all.
Stewardship is the key to spiritual authority. If God can trust you with the "unrighteous mammon," He will trust you with the true riches of the Kingdom. Luke 16:11 asks, "Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" Your handling of money is the training ground for your handling of spiritual power.
The days of silent compromise are over. We are taking back the ground the enemy has stolen from our minds and our ministries. We are going to find our calling, fund our mission, and fulfill the destiny God has placed on our lives. It is time to align our lives with the Word and watch what the Holy Spirit can do through a people who refuse to stay stuck.
